Looking for a great idea for parties or just watching the game on a lazy Sunday, here's a great recipe using our Shelton's Canned Chicken Breast Meat that is sure to please.

Cook time: 10 minutes

Total time:  20 minutes

Ingredients:

1 can Shelton's Canned Chicken Breast Meat (drained)

1 brick (8 oz) cream cheese

1.5 cups fresh baby spinach, rinsed, dried and chopped.

1 cup sour cream

1 cup chopped and marinated artichoke hearts

2 cloves garlic minced

1 Tablespoon chopped chives

1 teaspoon salt and pepper (ea)

1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese

2 large pitas, cut in to 8 wedges each

Directions:

1.  Preheat oven to 400F.  grease an 8 inch square baking dish.  Using electric mixer, beat cream cheese until softened.  Fold in Shelton's Canned Chicken Breast Meat, spinach, sour cream, artichokes, garlic, 1/2 of chives, salt and pepper 

2.  Scrape mixture into prepared baking dish.  sprinkle mozzarella Cheese over the top.  Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbling.  Let cool slightly.  Sprinkle with remaining chives.  Serve with Pita Wedges.

TIP:  use corn tortilla chips or toasted baguettes slices.
